Haridwar to Lansdowne - Via Sidhbali Temple
Sidhbali Dham is an ancient Sidhpeetha temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman and located in Kotdwar in Pauri Garhwal of Uttarakhand. The temple is en route to the popular hill station Lansdowne. The center point of the Shree Sidhbali Temple, with a beautiful Lord Hanuman Idol standing tall on a cliff, amidst the extraordinary view of the Garhwal Himalayas.
Inside the Sidhbali temple, there are the two natural Pindi (sacred stones, one is related to Lord Hanuman, and the second is related to Guru Gorakhnath Ji), which is to be appeared on its own (Swayambhu) in ancient times. The Lord Hanuman statue was established later. The Sidhbali Temple has a tradition for Bhandara (free food) where people provide food for the poor (and all, including the devotees) once their wish gets fulfilled.

Tarkeshwar Dham Mandir
Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple is a hidden gem 36 kilometers from Lansdowne. Perched at an elevation of 1,800 meters, this picturesque village is renowned for its sacred temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple offers a serene retreat for those seeking solace in the lap of nature, surrounded by lush forests of cedar and pine and meandering streams. The way to the temple is via a long, soothing walk down a narrow pathway around the hill. All you can hear are the sounds of nature — the chirping of birds and rustling of the leaves of the towering pine trees in the breeze.
Bhulla Taal
A small, well-maintained, and serene lake known as Bhulla Lake or Bhulla Tal is located just 1 K.M. walk from Lansdowne city center. Maid and maintained by the Indian Army. Let yourself lose in the cradle of nature at the Bhulla Lake in Lansdowne built by the Garhwal Rifles. An artificial lake, the reason for its creation was mainly to attract tourists to the city, which has worked in favor of the city. Peaceful and soothing, this is a perfect picnic spot amid flawless beauty. One can go boating or sit by the side of the lake, enjoying the serene beauty of the place. Adding to the lake’s scenic beauty is a neatly tailored flower garden creating a riot of colors.
Tip In Top Point
To witness the extravagance of the picturesque Shivalik range, you should visit the highest point of Lansdowne, the Tip-in-Top Point. The hilltop is located just 2 kilometres from the main city centre and it allows you to enjoy some stunning panoramic views. This particular point is surrounded by oak and pine trees and is still less explored by tourists.
St John's Church
A Roman Catholic Church in Lansdowne, St John's Church is the only running Church in Lansdowne. Located on Mall Road, between the way to St Mary Church, St John's Church was established in 1936. Beautiful interiors and a serene atmosphere make it a must-visit place in Lansdowne.
Located a few steps from the main road to Tip N Top, St John's Church is the only working Church in Lansdowne. After 1947, St John's Church was kept abandoned for years. In 1951, it was eventually handed over to the Government of India 1951. Re-erected in 1983, now daily prayers are being offered at St John Church.
