Welcome to Cappadocia
Upon your arrival, we will arrange a shared transfer to your hotel. Please note that the transfer operates at specific times. Once you've checked in (standard check-in time is after 15:00 hrs), you'll have some free time to unwind and settle in before dinner.
Cappadocia Sightseeing - Full Day Goreme City Tour
Kickstart your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before we embark on a full-day adventure exploring the wonders of Goreme City. Our first stop will be at UC Guzeller, where you can capture breathtaking photos of the famous fairy chimneys that adorn the Cappadocian landscape.
Next, we'll visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, an exceptional religious site that dates back to the 10th century. Immerse yourself in the history as you explore the intricately carved churches, chapels, and monasteries within the fairy chimneys. Adorned with vibrant frescos, these ancient structures are a testament to the region's rich cultural heritage.
After an awe-inspiring day of exploration, we'll return to the hotel for a delicious dinner. If you're feeling adventurous, we highly recommend the optional Hot Air Balloon Activity (available at an additional cost and subject to weather conditions). Please note that children below 6 years old or less than 120 centimeters in height are not permitted on the Hot Air Balloon.
Cappadocia – Day Free
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel and take the day to relax or opt for a Private Tour of The Valleys and Underground Cities of Cappadocia. Hop aboard our comfortable vehicle as we journey through the Rose Valley, famous for its captivating rock-cut churches. Continue your exploration in Cavusin, an ancient Greek village known for its remarkable Christian houses and churches.
Next, we'll visit the Ortahisar Castle and Kaymakli, an underground city where early Christians sought refuge. Gain insights into their lives and the enduring faith that sustained them. Our tour concludes with a visit to the Pigeon Valley, where you'll discover the fascinating role pigeons played in the lives of the locals.
Cappadocia to Istanbul
After a satisfying breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we'll proceed to the Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport for your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival in Istanbul, we'll arrange a transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.
Istanbul Classic & Highlights Tour
Indulge in a delightful breakfast before embarking on a full-day tour of Istanbul's timeless treasures. Experience the echoes of ancient times at Hippodrome Square, where you can almost hear the resounding hooves of chariots from days gone by. Marvel at the intricate tiles adorning the Blue Mosque, a symbol of Istanbul's architectural grandeur.
Prepare to be awe-struck as you witness the Byzantine mosaics and majestic minarets of Hagia Sophia. Immerse yourself in the history of Topkapi Palace, once the residence of powerful sultans, courtiers, and generals. Conclude your tour at the vibrant Grand Bazaar, where you can browse a kaleidoscope of handicrafts, carpets, and souvenirs.
After an enriching day, return to your hotel and savor a delectable dinner. We'll ensure you have the opportunity to indulge in some mouthwatering Indian cuisine.
Istanbul – Day Free
Start your day with a delicious breakfast, and then immerse yourself in an authentic local experience of Istanbul. Begin by strolling along the shores of the Golden Horn and visit the scenic Pier Loti Hill. As you ascend the hill via a short cable car ride, soak in the panoramic view of the Golden Horn and Istanbul while sipping tea or coffee (included in the price). Indulge your taste buds with a traditional Turkish pastry called 'gozleme.'
Continue your adventure by exploring the Balat neighborhood, followed by a visit to Karakoy, the bustling cruise port. Treat yourself to the flavors of Turkish street food and pay a visit to the renowned dessert shop, 'Gulluoglu.'
Next, we'll drive to Ortakoy, a charming neighborhood situated along the Bosphorus. Take in the scenic beauty and sample the famous almond butter from Bebek. Don't miss the chance to enjoy some delicious ice cream from a historic ice cream shop.
As the day draws to a close, we'll transport you back to your hotel, ensuring you've experienced the best of Istanbul.
Departure
Enjoy a final breakfast at your hotel as you prepare to bid farewell to Istanbul. Take advantage of some free time, depending on your flight schedule. Approximately 3-4 hours before your departure flight, we'll arrange a shared transfer from the hotel to Istanbul Airport.
As your extraordinary journey comes to an end, cherish the memories you've made in Cappadocia and Istanbul. We hope you return home with a heart full of unforgettable experiences.
